The Company   

Founded in Ireland in 2010, Cased Dimensions has a rich history spanning a full decade of delivering software, consultancy, and IT Managed Services; we have a strong track record with government and commercial companies across the world. The business has its origins in building software that enables process automation – primarily in conjunction with Microsoft’s off-the-shelf suites of products, but increasingly interfacing with data and workflows in other application suites.

Over time, Cased Dimensions has expanded into IT Managed Services including running significant government environments since 2014. The company has people in the UK (including a customer service centre in Northern Ireland), Ireland, the Philippines, and the USA.

The Role  

Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery. Support the administration tasks relating to P2P, Sales, payroll and credit control transactions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal
  • Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts
  • Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time
  • Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock
  • Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products
  • Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely
  • Updating all records of purchased products
  • Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses
  • Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders

In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post. Additional responsibilities anticipated include:  

  • Debt analysis and customer debtors contact
  • Payment allocations
  • Credit allocations and reconciliations
  • Overtime and payroll preparation

Skills and qualities required  

  • Knowledge in relation to the co-ordination and management of large-scale IT procurement projects
  • Experience of establishing systems to gather and analyse information to ensure the work of the team remains focused and customer orientated
  • Experience of partnership and collaborative working
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Possess attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience in a finance department / knowledge of finance processing
  • Experience of payroll systems
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task and organise priorities in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

Skills and qualities desired 

  • Commercial awareness including cost control, budgeting, and negotiations
  • IT product knowledge, product roadmap awareness

Education/Qualifications in one or more of the following     

  • Associate degree OR 1 years Business Support work experience OR other finance administration support role

  • A full driving license – preferably clean, however consideration will be given to people with low number of points

Additional Information   

As this role requires access to a high level of confidential information security checks may be completed at induction. 

Training  

Internal training on products and services will be provided. However, employees are expected to consistently keep abreast of new developments, which would impact on his/her areas of responsibility. Personal training in relation to job description will be given as part of the company’s overall personnel development program.

Conditions of Employment   

The salary for this role will be up to £25,000.

Benefits for this position will be determined according to the experience of the person appointed.

General Guidance   

The nominal working week is 37.5 hours, although a degree of flexibility is both offered and expected. In specific circumstances there may be a requirement to work additional hours. Annual holidays are 21 days plus 8 statutory holidays. Cased Dimensions is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
